Help me!

From Romans 8:


²⁶Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. ²⁷And he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.


Are your mondays as tough as mine?  Getting up and out and even having a devotion can be relatively tough to really enjoy on a Monday as the week looms large over you.  However, please turn to the passage above and be filled with thankfulness.  God has given us a helper.  He indwells us, and He is changing us, and he even intercedes for us!


God knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because he intercedes for us according to God's will.  The Spirit prays for God's will for us, and God already knows what is the mind of the Spirit.  I am thankful for Bill Piper, a dear friend who prayed for me this morning, but look at who else prayed for me!  And look at what he prayed!  Surely, today will be a good day, for the Spirit of God has interceded for me according to the will of God, and God already knows.  How wonderful of a day!
